What facilities are available?

We provide a fisherman's wooden cabin and clean toilets for our visitors. Please see the ‘Facilities' page.

 

Are dogs allowed?

We welcome well behaved dogs on leads.

 

Can I bring a BBQ?

If you have one but we have a BBQ available for visitors to use (please bring wood/charcoal).

 

Can I come to look around the fishery before fishing?

Absolutely, we welcome visitors who would like to come look at the lochs and facilities.

 

Can I bring my own boat?

Unfortunately boats of any kind are not permitted at Mossat Trout Fishery.

 

Is wading allowed?

To ensure your safety wading is not permitted. Wading is not required as the grass banks provide easy access to all areas of the lochs.
